@Ruthanne I'm taking notes down for next year (2024) projects. I need to investigate if my CD backup of all the floorplans I'd created in the early 2000s, is still in working order.
Using "Chief Architect by B&G" Software, I'd created more than 350 house plans. This was after I'd discovered that my great-grandparents had built and decorated over 600 houses in an old town. This after a turn of the century fire which destroyed this wee city.
I had dabbed into floorplans earlier at work and was surprised as to how I knew where everything went.
GGF was an amazing jack of all trades with speciality in carpentry, plumbing, electricity and heating. GGM was the one who drew the floors, then once built, gave the interior design a new style for the ones who disliked wallpapers of the times.
She used paints and sealers to decorate the walls with patterns. Funny how things our ancestors did are passed on to descendants. I realised this early on with daughter and son. Life is incredibly surprising sometimes

!
Thanks, fingers crossed, that I can try once more to recover what I did for fun with munchkins in the lonely times when husband was away on long contracts ehehe...
