I am a hugger. And since the pandemic I have been lacking to the point where it occasionally makes me depressed. I rectified this problem by buy a Squishaboo. I did not get her off Ebay though. One day I was on my way in to work and was seriously missing being hugged since the pandemic had started. I just happened to glance over at the hospital gift shop and found Kiki.

Whenever I need a hug or comfort I just grab her and hold her. Does the trick.

Have you not struck up a conversation with a total stranger, talked for a bit, laughed, then, when parting ways, got a hug from them? Happens to me quite often in stores. Sometimes, I get a hand squeeze and thanked for the conversation. Free hugs do give smiles to the faces of people involved.

(y) I looked this up to see if we had them here, too... and apparently we do. There was an interview with a guy who offered it, and he seemed appalled that "some people confuse it with being a sex worker!" Well... maybe if some people are paying $80 an hour, they *do* expect more than a cuddle. And cuddles can lead to other things.

for that kind of money it would seem a little creepy.

It’s WEIRD no matter which side of the fence you’re on. What sane person would become a professional hugger. At $80 an hour. After an hour of hugging……. ((((? ))))

From the one wanting just a hug for $80 an hour ….. I don’t know. 🤷‍♀️ Maybe I’m too judgmental…..
