Yeah, too good to be true it would seem. Although it actual tests, the Gemeni Ultra did outperform Chat GPT-4 on almost all test, but it's still in development, so they have some work to do before it will live up to the hype I'm afraid.

According to the video, the AI was cool. But it turns out the video was staged to look a lot more intelligent than it was.

Well, still very impressive and it will be a challenger for Chat GPT-4. However, I think GPT-5 will be released by next summer, and the company claims it will be orders of magnitude superior to GPT-4. So I think the two companies will be leapfrogging each other for some time, and probably each platform having it's particular advantage. It's going to be an interesting adventure.
