Pot is Legal on Dec.7 in Ohio,Now Lawmakers Trying to Change What Was Specified By Voters!

I know and I have a few left in the fridge. But I admit that I kind of prefer the quicker effect of a puff, then the slow build of edibles. A residual preference from my bygone 'naughty' youth I guess. And since we have a bunch of buds left, I'm going to have to learn how to make 'oil' to use in cookies or something because I'm reluctant to just let it sit.
Canna oil and canna butter is super easy to make. You could even make your own canna oil capsules. That way you can easily gauge the amount you are taking.

I don't smoke pot and I've been cigarette-free for over 4 months now.
That's fine, nobody is forcing you to light up. And I don't like drinking and never did, especially as I grew up for the first ten years of my life with an alcoholic father and then happened to marry a guy who was an alcoholic. Each to their own right? And since I've never driven after having a puff (when I still did) I've never inflicted it on anyone. And I'm glad for you that you kicked the cigarette habit. Hard to do so congrats on having the ability to put that behind you.

I'll have to check that out. I'm sure there are video's online that explain the process. Would be preferred and since I have an awful time with insomnia, much preferable to sleeping pills which Canadian doctors are really reluctant to prescribe for these days.

Well said? Apparently you have never heard of apartments or condos either. Yep, pot doesn’t affect brains at all.
My goodness, you should get rid of the pansies in your avatar. Choose something more appropriate, like a cactus, because you are not a friendly person at all. And no one is trying to convince you of anything, we're having a discussion that needn't include you. I'm sure if it bothers you so much, you can find something else to entertain yourself with.

I have breathing problems & can't be around either cigarette or cigar smoke. Marijuana smoke is just as bad if not worse for me. It doesn't matter if it's from the actual smoke in the air or what comes off of peoples clothes.

Last week on NPR was a show that had two doctors who study the effects of marijuana. It was very interesting what they had to say. One caller in asked why marijuana smells like a skunk. Both of the doctors said that was an accurate description of some of the pot that is out there now & that is what they actually call that marijuana - Skunk.

It is not unusual for the past several years to walk past cars in the parking lot & smell Skunk from some vehicles. What is even worse is when you are in a store & you have a Skunk in the store. Their odor stays where they have been.

I have to leave because I can't breath & start getting headaches from the odor.

So, do I have to give up my rights & health because of others who feel their rights supersedes all others?

I feel the same when I walk past people who smell like a distillery. Some people drink so much I feel tipsy just walking past them. It’s the same thing. Some people wear so much perfume it’s nauseating. We can’t change what others consume or what they wear. All we can change is our behaviour. Cigarettes stink but there are no laws regarding it. It’s the same with marijuana. People aren’t allowed to light up wherever they want with either one. It’s impossible to please everyone.

Pot has been legal in my country now for many years. I've never once caught a whiff of pot from anywhere I've gone or been. Where are you frequenting that you are encountering so much pot and inhaling it all??

Since they legalized Medical Marijuana in Ohio, all you have to do is drive down the road or stop at a red light next to a medical user & the odor comes into your car. Go into any store & you'll smell the user way before you see them.

Several people in my family who were pro-marijuana changed their minds when the realized after the Medical Marijuana passed because they started to realize who many people were out driving while imbibing. Not to mention the smelling the Skunk as well.

If THC is such a wonder drug for so much, why didn't the large pharma companies put it in legal drugs & make money off it?

You mentioned the perfume and I completely agree, it can be awful, particularly if you happen to give someone a ride somewhere and they reek in your car. My friends husband loves men's cologne and he bathes in it sometimes. The other thing that can stink up a neighbourhood is all those drier sheets that are scented! As for cigarettes, I haven't noticed that nearly as much in the past few years.

Big Pharma can't patent it because it's a natural product or something like that, so I've heard. And if they can't patent it, they don't want to spend the money on research I guess.

With a nose like that are you part Aardvark?

Again, in all of the many years it's been legal here in Canada I've never once caught a whiff of it in the air anywhere!! Guess I'm just frequenting all of the right places or something.

Opium is just one natural product that is being used by big pharma.

Plants have been & are constantly being studied to produce new medicines for use.

This is just one article: Natural products derived from plants as a source of drugs

There is zero reason for those of us who have health issues with smoke and/or who get physically ill from the smell of Skunk (love that!) should have to put up with it when there are ways for these people to consume their drugs without us having to smell it. That has been my entire point, but, for some reason, people who are addicted to Skunk don't care. They have no common courtesy.
