Of course, there's the usual in a decent day, still being on my own for another few. Fix myself some breakfast, shovel snow off the deck, wash dishes, watch the birds at the feeder, scrub kitchen & bathroom sinks, fix some lunch. Even do some more sifting-out of old papers & files in my office. Check in sometimes here on SF (I enjoy it here with you folks).

But my adventure will be to make a pizza using "Anita's Pizza and Pasta Flour", which was recommended to me by a friend who's a very good pizza maker. Just bought the flour a few days ago. Said to be unrivaled.🤔🙃

I admire you @JBR. To be able to do all these things! I am worn out just reading about everything you are doing today! :) Talking about flour, I bought semolina flour for making Spaetzle! What a great difference in texture. I hope your flour will do the same for your pizza!

You should have taken advantage of the blue light: It's a gateway to an alternate world! You missed the adventure of a life time, unless it's still blue! In that case hurry. I have this from a good source!
 
I am frustrated out of my mind! I have had McAfee pop ups plaguing me for the past five days. They pop up every ten minutes (or so). I can't get rid of them with a single click because there's no little x to click on, so I have to go through stage two and three of the offer to upgrade my McAfee, which I don't have. And then finally the desired x to get rid of the foolishness! All the google advice hasn't helped. Reset settings in Chrome Browser! Nope! Edge? No! My anti virus programme and my Microsoft fire wall are not interested, to them it's a legit thing and they don't respond to my efforts. Is there an IT person in this forum?

you might be better off asking on the technical forum... just copy and paste over there

@hollydolly , I had a similar experience one night, years ago. I was driving in the pouring rain, stopped at a traffic light. On the other side of the lights, it wasn't raining - road was bone dry. It was like there was a sheet of water on one side of the traffic lights.

Great idea, HD!

Today I'll make some calzones from leftover pizza doughs, but will kick back and relax for most of the day.

Tonight we'll have grandson for an overnight - would normally have him on Monday anyway, so taking him this evening gives his parents a break tonight and tomorrow morning. :love:

My day is chilly and windy, but sunny and clear. I've been out gathering dead wood for our annual Yule fire. 🔥

I'm in now. It's time for a cuppa.

I've got garlic chicken set up to be started soon Yum!

I need to get working on sewing my Mom's Christmas magnet!!!

I got home from Church about 1:30 and just put away some half and half, from the Dollar store, and a pack of English Muffins, and picked up my mail from yesterday. I got my first Christmas Card of the Season in my mailbox, and two more were in my church mail cubby!

If the weather tomorrow is like today-sporadic showers, I might go to the TOPs market about 20miles away-for some fresh fruit and fresh veggies. I hope they have some nice parsnips.

I started to buy only a few potatoes at a time because the 5 pound bags are too much for me.....they start to get little potatoe seeds and, if I dont eat them fast, they sometimes turn into
a liquid!:cautious:

There are re- runs of some "Sister Wives" shows at 3 PM and I will watch them.

Today I saw a cartoon on Daily Kos where a cat knocked over a Christmas tree. The comments strayed from the intent of the cartoon and became a big defense of cats. One person said the way we know that the world isn't flat is because if it was the cats would have knocked everything off over the edge.:LOL:

@OneEyedDiva Google Capersonmain.com. It's the restaurant Kennesaw, GA. DD, DGD and I all had French toast made with Challah bread, cream cheese, bananas, a chocolate peanut butter sauce and I dunno what else. It. Was. Delicious. More like a dessert than real food. They have a special brunch menu on Sundays that's not published so you just have to wait and see what's on it any given Sunday.

We were going to have a spinach artichoke roll made with cream cheese, lasagna noodles, marinara, herb oil and balsamic vinegar.

@Old Salt and @hollydolly Yes, indeed, chicken fried steak and biscuits with sausage gravy are epicurean delights. I wouldn't lie about something so important.

Why am I talking about food when I'm so full?

Dang, kids! It's cold here and not going to warm up until the end of the week, just in time to start raining again.

Off tomorrow. Yay. It's gonna be too cold to go out.
