The 1969 Movie: Easy Rider

I saw Easy Rider at the theatre when it first came out. I remember clearly at the end, everyone just sat there very quietly, stunned I guess is a better word. Then a lot of angry people. Angry at the hostility and narrow-mindedness which was a real concern back then.

I can remember the ending and the same stunned feelings.

Same here Pepper. I was 19 and hanging out da Bronix way too much for his liking then one day he told me to get a real job or I will be staying in Da Bronix 24/7/365. Forced homelessnes in da Bronix? Never, no way, not me. I'd be dead in a week.

One of the most important movies ever made, a snapshot of reality. Even the tripping scenes very Real.
2 years earlier (1967), Peter Fonda and Dennis Hopper were in a movie called The Trip. I saw it at my small town's theater with a Sonny and Cher movie, Good Times. I liked the Sonny and Cher movie way better than the LSD film.
