Wear a wig or not?

I recently started wearing a short wig, to see if I liked it. Not bad. It didn't cost a lot so why not give it a try. I noticed a few seniors wearing them at church and at the senior center, so I am giving it a try. I think it is ok. And plus it gives a little ump to my spirit. Got the color I want, but not too far from my own.

if it makes you feel better in yourself.. then there's nothing wrong with whatsoever...

I don't wear a wig, yet(?), but I think it's a great option! I always thought the Hollywood stars looked good in real hair wigs like Jane Fonda, Raquel Welch, Elvis*, Marilyn Monroe, Diane Keaton, and many of the young stars today as well.

Also hair extensions like on Jennifer Aniston and many other stars

Is it hot or itchy to wear? Does it blow off or separate in a strong wind?

* According to Lisa Marie Presley, her father lost his hair because of a skin disease he developed in the U.S. Army. He consequently had to wear a black hairpiece for most of his singing and acting career....Jan 23, 2023

My favorites are Dianne Keaton's....

Many years ago my wife and daughter came home from shopping. My wife was wearing a gray hair wig, she was in her 30's.

It was styled very nice, and she looked really great in it...the rest is x rated, but let's just say I really liked how she looked...

I'm always amazed what women can do with all of the appliances available to them. Wigs, heel heights, makeup, pads and props, clever clothing...

We had somebody move into the neighborhood once and for a while we weren't sure how many women lived there.

Expensive wigs look really nice. My head gets hot easily so I can’t even wear a hat in the winter. People also say they are itchy.

A friend of mine had lost her hair to cancer and she bought turbans that had bangs attached and they were cute. Once when it was windy it blew across the parking lot and a young man chased it and brought it back:)).

I have shoulder length hair which has always been baby fine. I've often thought about getting a wig since it would be fun to have a different style but wonder about the things @Lara mentions in her post, too.
