Some wigs are just as cheap ($20-25) depending on what kind of hair. I could easily spend that amount of money on yarn for my next project or something to wear. So, I thought why not.Due to my Thryoid going kaput, several years ago,, i've lost a lot of hair especially on the top of my head ! ..Luckily i Crochet and i have made many wide head bands to cover my bald spot, it's cheaper to buy yarn then to spend lots of dollars for a wig,, i have just about every color headband anyone could want !
Anybody I know? I watch the Food Network, now I 'm curious. There are some people on television, one time they have short hair and the next time they have long hair and I know very well it doesn't grow that fast. On Foodnetwork, there is a lady on there that wears beautiful hair and I know or highly suspect they are wigs.
Good movie. An interesting and very well done movie that involves Orthodox Jewish customs is Loving Leah . This is where I first learned of the custom of a wife wearing a wig in public.
Yes, and there's a lady on there that shows up with different length hair, and she wears wigs and looks great.Anybody I know? I watch the Food Network, now I 'm curious.![]()
I were them and the "cap" inside is warmer than my bald spot under there.I've taken to wearing a nightcap in cold weather. With so little natural insulation left on top it really does help.
Lately I wear them (indoors) much of the day. These are pretty stretchy, and the pressure bothered me a lot at first. Now I could probably even stand a wig.
I can only think of one lady, her show (with others) is on Saturdays.Yes, and there's a lady on there that shows up with different length hair, and she wears wigs and looks great.
Is it comfortable? I wore one a long time ago but it was very uncomfortable. I'd be inclined to wear one again if it felt comfortable. Do they come in sizes?I recently started wearing a short wig, to see if I liked it. Not bad. It didn't cost a lot so why not give it a try. I noticed a few seniors wearing them at church and at the senior center, so I am giving it a try. I think it is ok. And plus it gives a little ump to my spirit. Got the color I want, but not too far from my own.
I have been watching certain shows and noticing that it is in fashion these days to wear different hair lengths, colors, and styles that you know they are a different wig. Hair just doesn't grow that long in that short of time, plus, it is just what people do these days. So, I thought, why not wear a wig that is short like mine, but that beautiful silver gray that I like. People ask me if I colored my hair.I can only think of one lady, her show (with others) is on Saturdays.
And, yes....she wears them well.
Otherwise, it's really hard for me to tell, except for Cher.....she's pretty obvious.
Mine is comfortable, and I comb it or fluff it in the wrong direction on purpose. That gives it volume and I gently tap it down in the right direction and go with it. I hadn't thought about the size, I bet they do, because some people have larger heads than others. Check into it.Is it comfortable? I wore one a long time ago but it was very uncomfortable. They have a "stretchy net" to put on your head before putting on the wig and that helps with the comfort. Is it comfortable? I wore one a long time ago but it was very uncomfortable. I'd be inclined to wear one again if it felt comfortable. Do they come in sizes?
They do have ways to adjust them.Is it comfortable? I wore one a long time ago but it was very uncomfortable. I'd be inclined to wear one again if it felt comfortable. Do they come in sizes?

No, they have adjustable straps inside the cap part of the wig, either on the neck side or sides.File down the ol' forehead?
