Did President Eisenhower Meet Aliens?

One of the best things I’ve ever seen on television was the American Horror Story season segment of “Double Feature” where Mamie Eisenhower was possessed by aliens! Her eyes would roll back to white, she could levitate, and explode people’s heads at will. The entire mini-series had an authentic period flavor, and Ike was portrayed more dynamically than I’ve ever seen done. This clip is a sample… 🙀

 

That actor was also in History Channel's "Project Blue Book" series, another good period piece.

I also liked him in "Tin Man" the Wizard of Oz sequel miniseries.
 
While in the US Navy I worked with a junior officer who claimed to have seen two flying saucers. The story goes that as a teenager, one evening he was standing on a foot bridge over a creek a few miles outside of a midwestern town, when a flying saucer appeared overhead. It remained there for a few minutes until a second saucer appeared and they both flew off together. Do I believe his story? I‘m skeptical, but he seemed to believe it.

I've always liked Neal McDonough...he is FINE! Or as we say Foine! :love: Plus he is a good actor. Although I think some actors look better bald, he's not one of them. Interesting that he played Eisenhower. I found the premiere episode of American Horror story to be boring. Tried to watch again during another season and the episode was foul. So I never watched again.

I keep meaning to get back to Project Blue Book...thank you for the reminder. I watched Tin Man (because of Neal). It also co-starred the actress who is #1 on my Worst Actresses list...Zooey Deschanel. Neal also has a recurring part in 911: Lone Star.
