Mine is up with lights and some ornaments. I left off the sentimental ones that go back decades. I made cupcake ornaments a few years ago as therapy and it worked a little.

Our tree is still in our woods. We have dozens, probably hundreds of various conifers growing on our land. We typically cut a small one and bring it in to decorate, but this year it just wasn't a priority.

Mine is in the living room. It's a 6' "pencil tree" (slim) because our living room is small.

It's a "Redbird Christmas" tree, with only redbirds and snowflakes on it (except for an antique glass pickle hidden away for good luck.

On top, is a large metal redbird.

When I had a heavy topper, I mounted it on a 2 foot dowel rod painted green and tied the dowel rod to the trunk of the tree with green wire. It kept everything straight.

Also you can use those green plastic plant stakes.

I started using a gold glittery bow as a topper a few years ago and every year since, my daugther has suggested never going back to a star or angel for my tree because it looks so pretty. Beautiful tree, Pam.
