You're both in my prayers. We try and believe me some days are very hard. Barely able to walk from my injuries in May, facing more leg surgery 1/11, and the Wife starting Chemo for lung cancer the day after Christmas. Even though it seems bad, there many more that are facing worst.
oooh this is just horrible for you..We try and believe me some days are very hard. Barely able to walk from my injuries in May, facing more leg surgery 1/11, and the Wife starting Chemo for lung cancer the day after Christmas. Even though it seems bad, there many more that are facing worst.
That sounds just like you.Trying to stay out of trouble, not staying out of trouble, and getting into trouble.
What's not to like these days?
Good morning to you too, Sunshine. That sounds just like you.![]()
I (me, a guy) don't know what it is with women and "The Little House on the Prairie". It's like a cult. When the first two notes of the TV show's theme came on, guys shouted, "OMG! NO", and in a millisecond switched the channel. Women entered into this altered reality, watching it. ??????I am reading the Little House on the Prairie books and just loving them. The way Laura and her family take each day, each season and each challenge as it comes is inspirational.
I read how she and her sisters loved school and learning so much that they didn't want even weekends to interrupt.
Ditto. I much prefer finding things to do, be excited about and happy about. Problems to solve. Improvements to make. I'm not the type so sit idly by waiting for death.Yes truly enjoy living. Just being alive and plodding along each day waiting for the grim reaper doesn't appeal to me.
The original books are absolutely brilliant, well written by a natural gifted author , telling an accurate description of the hard lives of incredibly courageous pioneer families. Few of us could endure what they did, the cold, hunger and sheer graft.I (me, a guy) don't know what it is with women and "The Little House on the Prairie". It's like a cult. I am so sorry, life is a real challenge for you. I wish strength and comfort comes to you as you need. God bless you. XWe try and believe me some days are very hard. I should have added that the books were part of the "cult".The original books are absolutely brilliant, well written by a natural gifted author , telling an accurate description of the hard lives of incredibly courageous pioneer families. The Hollywood series are nonsense, all over romanticised as usual.
Here's hoping for a successful surgery for you on the 11th, @old medic . How is Mrs. Medic doing with the chemo? We try and believe me some days are very hard. I say they are just very good timeless books based on a real life and family .I should have added that the books were part of the "cult".![]()
