Ok, we all know our eye color, right? Yet it seems like something open to dispute somehow.

Feel free to post your own and/or vote with your description of the other eyes.

Now I took this very early, and I see I must have rubbed my right eye. But what color are these, taking into account the lighting from one side. I didn't sit for a portrait here, it was a snap on the go thing.

My late husband and I had brown eyes. When my daughter was born with greenish-blue eyes, I assumed they'd turn dark.

Nope. Depending on the light and what she was wearing, they can be blue, green or a combination thereof still.

Genetics are a marvelous thing. The gene pool is like a big pot of stew. You reach down with a ladle, scoop out a bowl full and you never know what you're going to get.

This scoop has twice as many carrots as potatoes, that scoop doesn't have a single piece of meat, and that scoop? Hope you like onions......

My parents were both brown-haired but one had brown eyes and the other had blue eyes. We kids were born with every possible combination of eye and hair color. Good stew.

She has my eye color in the OP. I call mine grey, or greyish blue. My grandson has Frank Sinatra blue, just like my dad. It's interesting as both his parents have dark brown, and my grandson is a throwback to My dad---blue eyed blond, pale skin.

My eyes change colour.
Mostly green , sometimes blue sometimes hazel.
Environmental colours do that to mine.

Once when I was in hospital the young nurse who was attending me suddenly said
"OMG your eyes just changed to green...I think they were grayish before "
I had a lovely day with visiting nurses coming in just to check my eye colour.
Some saw blue, then later green, then "bluish green"
right now after a disturbed night they are struggling to stay open....roll eyes 6.gifyawn.gif

They look grey to me. Very nice color. :giggle:

Well at least I'm not a wrinkle-puss yet, taking closeup photos has had a small benefit. Baggy? Droopy? Well one can't have everything!
