How is it that licence/passport pics

when you look in at a camera to have a pic taken for new driving license,it turns out to look nothing like the geezer you see in a mirror lol,,,,,,,,,,,,just had my licence renewed,so went to a booth,,geez,looks like im a zombie pmsl,,,,,,,,,,,,,,
 

I get my licence and passport pics from an enclosed photo booth at our supermarket. They are much cheaper than at the photograph. I'm looking quite normal, but the processed black and white photos in the licence or passport make me look like a criminal. Damn it.

Similar type photo booth here, you get 4 for the price and in colour. Only problem, I look younger than my birthday age, so I've to show my birth certificate 🤣🤣🤣

It's in Scotland dear! The photo doesn't make me look younger, my family's genes are responsible for that, sorry!!!
