Now I keep thinking of Canadians who say "pop" but pronounce it more like "pawp." That might be the prairie Provinces though. We get a lot of them who cut through the U.P. using US-2 instead of the longer, more hellish route that runs North of Lake Superior. You could spend a whole day sitting in the St. Ignace Big Boy listening to wacky accents. And yes, it has one of many of the painted moose statues across the Southern U.P. I'm not sure why Canadians like Big Boy so much.
