I have been to most every place I wished to go in the Continental North America.
No desire to go to the Over Seas Experience. Been Deep Sea fishing, a long day.
I'm mostly good, will do an occasional February in warm area. Basically I just like
to enjoy each day as it happens. If I go a great distance I miss my place sooner than
later. What can I add? Calm ?
Sounds good...

@Fit4Life, I didn't mean to come off as rude.
I just believe that hope and dreams are at times the only thing people have.

No worries. I gave grace to others with a warm smile regardless. I need to keep smiling out of this life. Thanks for circling back any way.

Often times when someone gets an opportunity to do something that is pleasant and bring meaning to life, we tend to wonder why many people are not seeking to find meaning to life/to their existence. It doesn't have to be extravagant like travelling globally if one cannot afford. But the smallest things that can bring pleasure and a warm smile in one's heart. Like getting your favorite book or snack and driving somewhere 2x a week or so or joining a sports and fitness club (not just a gym) etc...to enjoy "you", while freeing yourself from the stress of life. I mentioned bucket list as I know a lot of people keep talking about this list, therefore I asked the question, why have one when it is not pursued.

Yes, we need to dream and have hope, but I believe at some point one can at least try to make dreams and hope come alive. The key is to not share unless you have accomplished that goal. So many people are negative and unknown to them, they denounce positiveness in others, and that's because they see themselves unworthy of good things. Anyway, you stay up and be encourage.

Welcome, Fit4Life. Some people are afraid of the unknown and let the “what ifs” keep them from new experiences.
That is so very true too. There are different levels of fear such as 0,1,2 & 3. Hopefully, in 2024 we try to do more for ourselves. Find ways to have fun, fulfillment and peace. While doing so, we always have to remember simple acts of kindness. For example, a warm smile to others known and unknown goes a long way. Be well.

haha the mat is just a joke. Welcome. I love your energy and lovely avatar.
Mine is Audry Hepburn just for the Valentines season fast approaching.
Stick around. You're fun.

I loooooove this!!! hahahahha. Thank you for your warm welcome tho. I'm not afraid of any family (lol). Which family will reject love and throw away a bowl full of chocolate coated encouragement with positive energy and vibes all wrapped up in a golden package. (smile)

Very chesty today are we? Here have a glass of ice! ..... :ROFLMAO: .....
Dreaming of back to work and spoiling my retirement doing so.
Those slo dreams where I don't get anything finished. Sorting stuff!

Welcome to the forum @Fit4Life . I don't have a bucket list. I have (like most people) dreams and things I would have liked to have done. But I do not want to get down/disappointed about those things I can never accomplish.
I enjoy what little joys I can squeeze out of each day.

Thank you! Having a bucket list is NOT important. My concern was people tend to boast about having a BL and not doing anything about it. But yes, it is the little things in life that brings joy and peace that counts. Looking for the good and keeping a positive frame of mind is returning kindness to oneself. Hope you are doing well today...Continue to be encourage.

The forgone tradition of writing and completing a bucket list goes back to the primary keepers of bucket lore. Tribal inhabitants compose a list of tasks and dreams for completion in the allotted time of mortality in an effort to express one final F%@# you life before retiring one’s self to the madness of Never More.
