Here's a question. When was the last time did you exercise patience (even when you were screaming inside)? I'll go first. I have been learning to exercise patience while driving behind slower drivers...I'm talking about speed limit or below speed limit drivers. One day, I came to the realization that people drive slow for many reasons such as, unable to see the road clearly, not feeling well, just received bad news, had a long day at work, probably crying to or from their destination, elderly driver...
For me, I have been making a conscience effort to give grace to slow drivers (even in the fast lane...and then again...not too much as they should not be in the fast lane in the first place--lol). Not that I will stay behind. But grace in the sense to not get annoyed. Guess what, it feels so good when grace is given to others especially when we are not looking for it to be returned, BUT...grace always finds us in many different ways. Be well everyone and share your "patience" experience. Perhaps in 2024 we can come together and heal others through act of kindness.
