My splenic artery where at age 20 due to my own fault, endured a pseudoaneurysm people usually die from quickly but I somehow have managed to stay alive for another 55 years, sometimes just barely with long bouts of pancreatitis and more, though infrequently over the last two decades. That artery goes to the spleen that filters our blood, and parts of the stomach and pancreas that when the artery is even partially blocked can cause tissue necrosis to areas it feeds. Is sadly the main reason I've never married because I would not be able to support a wife and children long term with confidence.
