What different colors would you color your hair 🤔

:ROFLMAO: I hope I didn't take that the wrong way, but that would be hilarious.

Of course it might also be literally true, so thank you.
It's true!

Now I am curious, does aubergine mean something else in Michigan, USA?

A friend of mine has short black hair with a longish fringe, short hair suits her but, because she gets bored with it, she adds a couple of stripes of bold colour to the fringe, usually a dark blue or purple or red. She did try green once but, her little grandson said she looked like a parrot so, she ditched the green! It's not a look everyone could carry off but, she comes across as very confident and her style really suits her.

I tend to keep my hair simiilar to its natural colour, sometimes a shade lighter or darker. I think if I tried bright colours in my hair I would look more eccentric than stylish! :)

Good thing her name isn't Polly.

It'll turn out an ashy, muddy sort of mauve color, though. Unless you have a professional do it.

How do I know? I watch a guy called Hair Buddha on YouTube, and Hair Buddha watches hair-fails from various platforms.

His videos are funny.
How do you know? You haven't seen my present hair color 🙂

You talked about it in your OP. You colored it and it's a honey blonde that has a reddish tint to it.

According to the Hair Buddha, you have to take out the color you put on your hair or...disaster! And senior people's hair has lost its natural color, so ...um, something happens that's not good, I don't remember exactly what, and it gets damaged really easily. That's why he keeps saying go to a professional, but he also keeps saying, if you do it at home, don't put purple on it.

Thank you 😊

I'm a guy who doesnt color so maybe I have no business commenting on this thread but will anyway.

In my opinion the most attractive color is platinum. There are different shades and some highlights can be added for contrast. I think it looks good on men but is sexy as hell on women, young and old alike.

I think the color also depends on the skin color. I've noticed some blondes that don't look very good because their complexion naturally is darker. I'm talking about white women, too. Kim Kardashian is one.

Looks as good on records
As it does on me..."

I'm very happy of my natural hair colour, so just tried during pandemic to change in order to match husband's white hair. Needless to say it didn't work and caused more troubles.

Since son passed away in 2017, I got greys on fringe and now almost two years after husband's passing, both temples and behind ears it's finally going Salt and Pepper.

So, as a very dark brown nearly black, I was hoping for Salt and Pepper in my old age. Happy to say that I'm on my way. Probably another 10-20 years before whole hair changed. Yippee!
