Saddened by a great loss this year, new family member helping us heal.

Look forward to the odd video or cute pic. Puppy years go by way too fast.
Thanks Mark, I have no experience with videos and still have few pictures of him. I took this one a few days ago on his five month birthday.

He likes to lie in a stream of sunlight just like the cat. The cat is laying low behind those chairs, they're getting along okay, but not snuggle buddies yet, lol. The cat definitely dominates. :)

Thank you Ruthanne, he is sweet and affectionate. I will definitely give him a hug and kiss, and let him know it's from a special lady who is a kind and caring animal lover. 🧡

Dogs never seem to resent a power differential that goes against them. As long as it is clear they can relax.

He's a terrier, excitable and very happy. The cat is used to laid back and mellow from our last two dogs. He doesn't like it when the pup is up in his grill, lol.....but they are passing each other by every day and getting to know each other, no bad incidents yet, and don't expect any.

Loki is a very dog friendly cat, and Bear is doing great since he was never around a cat before. He's friendly with other dogs in the neighborhood and people, so I'm glad about that. Sometimes you read things about a certain breed and get concerned, but all these pups have their own personalities and are very open to accept all in the family.

All of us who share our lives with our pets are very lucky, life is good with furbabies around.

I am sorry for your loss of your sweet baby but glad that you have a new little buddy. I have done dog rescue for the past 20 years so have lost many dogs and Amy has a serious heart condition and just turned 10. We never have our fur babies long enough.
Thank you Terry. You're an angel for doing rescue for so many years, can't imagine all the heartache you have experienced, but the dogs were blessed to have a caring person like you to make their lives better.

Wishing the best for Amy, sending love and hugs her way. You're right, we never have them long enough, and it hurts so bad each and every time we have to say goodbye.

Bear had neuter surgery this past Tuesday, including a microchip. He turned 7 months old on Thursday, and the first pic was taken yesterday, I needed a quick photo of him for identity when I registered his microchip info.

Other two are on the chair in the living room with his winter coat (a little big) on, the other is in the kitchen. He's a good egg, a little feisty and full of baloney, lol. His skin is freckled all over, especially on his underbelly, guess that's common in some terriers. :)

Is bear a jack Russel terrier? His colours are so distinct. I love the coat you got for him. It’s so very cute.

I’m so sorry for talking about my loss in your ‘loss’ thread. Sometimes I just don’t think. Please forgive my rudeness.

I lost 2 in the past 20 years, sad, one of cancer, Vet put her to sleep in my arms.
The other just didn't wake up in the middle of the day nap.
A couple months go buy and loved another Saved Pup.

Have had Rosey a Lil Coton de Lulear now since fall of 16.

He's a Smooth Fox Terrier, the Jack Russels have the short legs, not sure if there's many other differences. I know mine has a really long and pointed snout, to find foxes and drive them out of their dens. The vet sent him home with a huge e collar, size for large dog, they said because his nose was so long, he needed that extra width to keep him from biting on the stitches, lol. Luckily we haven't had to use it, he's been gentle with them.

Sweet lady, you are not rude at all. No apology needed, I welcome all the good folks here to share any of their personal experiences in any of my threads, that's what it's all about. Your thinking is always fine, all good! 💙 ☮️
