My middle grandson was admitted to the hospital Saturday with gastric problems. He couldn't keep anything down. They were thinking he had ulcerative colitis or Crohns disease, but were awaiting tests to see. They put him on a liquid diet. My son spoke to him this morning and he said they are slowly reintroducing solids. This young man has had so many problems. He has fibromyalgia and is often in pain. He has more pain on top of that due to an injury sustained in a car accident.

Last night, my honorary daughter was admitted to the hospital. If you've read enough of my posts, you've seen that I mention her often. She is the mother of my two youngest grandchildren, treats me so well and is truly like a daughter to me. She and my son remained good friends after their relationship ended. She had a transsient Ischemic Attack (TIA or mini stroke). She's been under a lot of pressure at work..partly because she always gives 200%. She got my grandson a job at her school, which is about a 25 minute drive, so I wondered if he would go in today since he'd have to take an Uber.

Turns out he's sick. He told his dad he's been vomiting all morning and can't go in. This also means he will not be able to go see him mother, which I'm sure is very upsetting for him. Like his (half) brother, he also has fibromyalgia and is in terrible pain sometimes, but he maintains a positive attitude and pushes through. In fact the doctors and nurses who cared for him when he was hospitalized were surprised that such a young person (he was about 15 at the time) presented in such a positive manner.

I also found out today that a friend of mine has cancer. We believe they caught it in the early stage, so that's a good thing. Being the strong, resilient person she is, she is handling the diagnosis very well. I ask those of you who are praying people to please pray for them. If you are not...then please send out some positive vibes and healing energy. Thank you so much❣️

Goodness @OneEyedDiva, that’s a whole lot to deal with all at once. 😞. Prayers for you and your family!

Oh dear, OneEyedDiva, this is really upsetting news,
you must be really worried, all at the same time, I
hope that it is all over and that they get home hale
and hearty very quickly.

I send some healing to help things along.

Mike.

Thank each of you for sending your love, light, positive energy, good wishes and for your concern ❣️ There are no words to adequately express how much it means to me. I will pass these along to my loved ones. The good news is that my HD is out of the hospital and feels much better. Her blood pressure is down and that's why they were able to discharge her yesterday evening. My son picked her up after work even though she insisted to drive herself home. The hospital is in the next town over. Amazingly, but not surprisingly, she had driven herself there. My son took a Lyft to get his car afterward.

He had stopped by their house and my grandson was not home, so apparently he felt better. My middle grandson is still in the hospital but told his dad yesterday that he's feeling better too. They want to do more tests before he's released. I'll speak with him today to get the latest.
