Our bodies renewed every 7 years

Amazing fact that we are in effect a new person every 7 years. Actually if you haven't seen someone for many years you do get that strange feeling but can't think why. Our bodies are self healing, self renewing, we are marvels of biology.
Yet why do we suffer so many ailments and age at all then?
Perhaps because we do not eat exactly the right fuel, do exercise enough, hydrate properly? If we did everything perfectly maybe we could live to the maximum lifespan which is 120 years. But why is there a 120 year limit? There is a limit set on every living thing.
The Bible says one set of things, science has other theories.

Maybe there are only limits if you believe there are? I do much better in the health department / fitness etc. when I see myself as limitless and open to all positive possibilities.

I have to admit I'm not into this dying thing. I guess 120 years is our "use by" date??? Apparently, I just got a new bod about a year ago, and it's another 6 years before I get a new one. I got to get a better body shop.

Trust the science.

The regeneration isn't absulute. Your skin regenerates much faster. Some cells don't regenerate (spinal cells). Cancers are the abnormal regeneration of cells. Some cells are never regenerated, such as the lens of our eyes. Seven years is an "average".

In the beginning we were designed to be immortal
and then the Lord said Yee shall surely die.
So, the lord was pissed. We are exactly
what he had expected but hoped not.

Ya give a Monkey a brain and Ya get
the expected mayhem. "Do not Eat the
Banana's ya Monkeys, you will receive
all the wrong Vibes!"

So, you see it was the peeled bananas
That got them all sexy and aroused.

"Adam, oh Adam, I want another Baby."
"Me too hot Chick. I don't like this one either!"

I was told that soft tissue cells are only ever 2 weeks old,
bones are older because they last longer.

The reason we age, is because we stop producing Stem
Cells at around 21 years, so the new cells, that replace old
ones, can only copy the one that it is replacing, so it looks
older at every swap.

So I was led to believe.

Mike.

That 7 year figure is an exaggerated over generalized myth:

Does Your Body Really Replace Itself Every 7 Years?

Reality is our different body cells replace themselves at highly variable rates that modern science has now come to understand.

Our Bodies Replace Billions of Cells Every Day

Yep, Re-clones just can't work out. It has a flaw.
Re-cloning loses vitality! Basically, Toxins stir into the mix.
Our blood fills with forever chemicals.
Turning on the Stem Cells seems a great topic of discussion.
Maybe we would grow 3rd legs, 3 eyes, stuff like that.

Old Testament characters such as Adam lived hundreds of years. It is confusing.

I still don't get how their sons found the women.
Where did the millions of Women come from?

One key to aging is telomeres that protect the ends of our DNA genes. A reason I now at age 75 still have mostly brown hair and am unusually fit is probably in part because my telomeres are longer. My younger siblings have all aged normally.

Are Telomeres the Key to Aging and Cancer

IMO if there is any historical reality in Genesis, the reason Adam and Eve's descendants lived hundreds of years was because they were genetically engineered from ordinary homo sapiens. They might have lived far longer if God had not kicked them out of the Garden where they would have consumed special nutrients and medicines from the Tree of Life.
