how can you tell how many posts a poster has on here?

If you click on or put your cursor over a person's name, a popup comes up that shows the number of messages they've posted and your reaction score. You've posted 64 messages for a reaction score of 160.

Hover over their avatar ... in your case, the "J" in the green circle.

They probably sound grammatically correct and you can spell.

My understanding is that, while you may be able to find threads in a search engine and read them, in order to actually post, you have to sign up (register) as a member, with your email address and a password. Otherwise, not possible to post.

Apparently one can purchase fake ip addresses. I’ve seen it advertised.

For all the time I've been here, I never saw anything like this. But, on other forums, there have been instances of people's accounts being hacked and posts made without their knowledge. As always, the offenders were banned when it came to the Admin's attention. Glad Matrix has taken care of it. Never happened to me, and I hope you are not bothered by this again.
