Help with FB somebody you may know friend request

I get tons of someone you may know friend request. How do I stop total strangers from popping up? I clean the request out periodically but it’s time consuming.

Under your "settings and privacy", go to "audience and visibility." There your can choose who may contact you.... either "everybody" or "friends of friends." And I need to thank you for asking this, because I've had mine set for "everybody" and didn't know it! @Mr. Ed

Go to Notifications and you will find a thing to push that turns it off.

i don't do Facebook either...they go to 4 corners of the world ..pulling up ...who knows...can't delete all at once...they make everything difficult

I closed out my FB account decades ago, and what was left was erased by FB, due to "inactivity." Yet, I still get friend requests from "Ernestine Flaggenbush" and others I never met.
