I wanted to write the word "from". What I wrote was "wham"
you sound more than on the ball to me... but as someone who cares for an alzheimers' sufferer, I can understand you might be on hyper alert...There was a band called āWham.ā Could you have been thinking of them? I find that sometimes I miss-associate or misidentify when I am multitasking, or simply get distracted by multiple demands being made on me at the same time. We are not meant to operate in this way! You can overload yourself neurologically.
To share a related experience, I went for a āWellnessā check the other day, and the buggers did a mini-mental status check on me, since Iām a geezer and all. I aced the part on remembering three objects later on, but then they wanted me to draw a clock face with hands specifying a particular time. Now I havenāt used analogue clocks in decades, Iām no artist, and no one has ever asked me to draw one representing a specific time, so I struggled a bit with this archaic item, realizing afterwards that I had drawn the hands wrong, and getting the nurse to allow me to draw a correction.
I can dance around most people linguistically, but my spatial rendering skills were never the best. There are multiple intelligences, and most of us are stronger in some than others. I didnāt want them to think that the cheese had fallen off my crackerā¦too far, anyways!![]()

Wham was not on my mind. Totally no idea how this could have occurred. There was a band called āWham.ā Could you have been thinking of them?
