When you think of the billions of us running around the planet, stupid and criminal things will happen. This is another teacher being with a boy of 12. Unfortunately, there are more boys and more charges. What is kind of bizarre is the proof of these charges might be hard to deny. She may be pregnant with the 12 year old's child.

How much of this might come from cultural changes forcing role reversals? How much of it always went on and just didn't get public coverage in media? Our new seems less local every day.

😲 Say what? This isn't about teacher w/student which has "always gone on" with or without coverage.
This is about the fact that the little boy was TWELVE. "Role reversal" isn't about raping 12 year olds!
Just out of curiosity, would your answer have been the same if a 38 year old man would have raped
a 12 year old girl resulting in pregnancy?

Role reversals? the 12 year old is a child and the teacher is a predator - do you mean this was previously the domain of men?

Yes, her student was 12 years old as well and they ended up getting married and having children when he became an adult. I always thought she was a predator and I think this woman is a predator as well. At 12 years old, I was just a kid still learning about the "birds and bees". I had crushes on certain female teachers when I was a kid but would have been horrified if they'd reciprocated. I guess not all 12 year-olds are created equal, especially in the age of the Internet.

seadoug: Have you seen some 12 year old boys, especially the Islander types where they are 6ft tall and built like a tank? Here in Australia
we have many of these young men playing football in the junior teams and they are huge. Mature beyond their years. She should be cast as a pedophile. and suffer the consequences the same as a male.

12 years old is 12 years old. It doesn't matter if he's 6 feet tall and built like a linebacker or how "mature" he seems. He's still a 12-year-old child. She's an adult and should have control over herself. There are plenty of adult males to engage with, but she's a predator, a pedophile, and a repeat offender who prefers to se xually abuse children. For God's sake, leave the children alone!

There's no cure for this behavior. Whether they're male or female, they deserve the same fate. The thing to do is to get the perpetrators off the streets, out of circulation, and keep them permanently away from children.

Yes, I've seen them. I also watched a very irreverent but hilarious show, Summer Heights High, where Chris Lilley (Australian) played Jonah from Tonga so even though it was exaggerated I got a sense of how some of these boys act. I think it was taken off the air for being too offensive.

I do agree that she should be cast as a pedophile and put a sexual offender list.

The reality is women are often not punished like a man would
Some made to be infamous, the women have no TV movies and interviews again and again i am sure paid well for.
 
Alissa McCommon, was recently in court on 23 charges, and now appears to be pregnant.
What's wierd is I googled "female teacher having sex with teen boy" to see what happened with the case.
