I haven't had one inquiry of my Easter Items

Easter's still a few weeks away. Give it some time. Your prices are ok, but people usually shop for the stuff they put IN their kids' baskets before they buy baskets, and a lot of people theses days buy baskets that are already filled. Plus, you've got people who don't get their EBT food benefit until the middle of the month, people who don't get their paycheck until Friday, people who are waiting for all their rent and utility checks clear....

Just give it time.

Deb,, have you looked for an antique store near you?
Please check this out online , Salamanca Antique Mall.

I know its too far away from you .
Am suggesting that you look for something closer to you.
Yes, they will take a percentage of your sales.

I think you have the time & skill of how to display your items that you want to sell.
Just something to think about.

I've suggested Deb try a flea market. But she doesn't want to and I can understand why she doesn't want the hassle of selling online. People lie, state they never got the items etc..

Some cute stuff I'd get. I like that little bunny dish at the end and that basket with the eggs in the first picture. I got a dark green cotton dispenser bunny a couple of weeks ago for $1.00 at an independent charity shop here.

I hope you can sell some items.

Am I the only one who wanders to antique/ thrift stores?

My husband & I do this as we have many items from my father's family, things of step mother's to get placed somewhere else.
To say nothing of our own things ( junk to anyone else).

The ones near by seem to be handling anything from clothing to glass wear, figurines.
Whoever is setting up the displays seem to my eye do a profession job.

I love thrift stores. Luckily we have a couple of really good independent, volunteer run shops in my area. The little one downtown (best prices) and PAWS.

I went to another yesterday and was surprised they were charging $2.50 for paperbacks! I found 3 cozy mysteries in almost new condition, a bowl for the cats at work (one recently disappeared, blaming homeless) and a plate for myself. Those were $2.00 each. But senior discount was 25% so that helped. I only go senior discount day.

I have to go into work for something at 11. Now I'll swing by PAWS on the way back.

Absolutely not. I haven't been to the antique mall place in my town in ages however. I go to at least one thrift shop most weeks.

But don't you ask the buyer to come to your home? Why would anyone do that for a dollar or five dollar item? Go all the way to your house for them I mean. Doesn't make sense unless they live across the street.
I agree, I'd just as soon go to Walmart or another store and buy a basket and Easter stuff there, new and fresh.
