MalwareBytes won't update database versions

I always manually update every day, but yesterday when I did it, I got a pop-up that said,"You have the latest database version." It was the same this morning. It's unusual not to be updated for this long. I wonder if they stopped updating for older MalwareBytes versions. There was no notification. I also tried contacting MalwareBytes, but received no help because I have a free version. This is the screenshot of the last time I updated:

Most software won't support the old Windows 7 any more. I had to upgrade my computer about 6 or 7 years ago (maybe more, I forget) to Windows 10 because I kept getting notifications that Windows 7 wouldn't be supported by Microsoft any more after a certain date. In other words, your computer is getting old.

Looked it up and found this:

Might be worth a try

Edit: As it happens, I have the exe file I downloaded from the Malwarebytes website last March when I reinstalled, should be version 4.5. I can send if you'd like to try it but looks like they went to version 5 last month and now support for your version has been dropped.

Maybe I don't really need it, it's not an active program. It only detects malware if a scan is actually run. I do have Microsoft Security Essentials installed which is a constantly monitoring program. I installed the MalwareBytes in May 2015.
