So I said to my neighbour I was bored and she brought me this box with 500 pieces of a lovely garden and cottage scene and I haven't done a jigsaw puzzle in years !!!

Pieces are small and my fingers are fumbly and of course the thumb that isn't there doesn't help but I wanna have a go at it.

I figured I would try and get all the ends first then work on sections but oh my....500 is a big pile o pieces and it will be 14 x 19 inches in size

So peeps how would you start....please. My diningg room table is all ready for it.

I seriously dislike jigsaw puzzles. :giggle: The way my daughter does it (she prefers 500 pieces) is to go through the whole box first and pick out the end/edge pieces and gets the frame done. After that she looks to see if there are any easy to recognize color or shape sections to get those done first. Once a few of the easier sections are together, the rest isn't quite as daunting.

I love jigsaw puzzles :) Always do the edges/frame pieces first. Then, like you, sections.
It's a great way to sharpen your eyes for colours, etc.
Enjoy!
