Those of us living in the UK are kept aware of this terrible miscarriage of justice, but how many of the members who live elsewhere in the world know of this awful story.

There is an enquiry going on at the moment, but why do I have this feeling in my gut that all those Sub-Postmasters will not get, or see justice administered.

Post Office Scandal: The Full Story (So Far)​


 

It transpires that Vennells the CEO of the Post offices..knew there was problem with the software a long time ago, and never said a word. Just let people lose their job, be accused of theft an in some case go to prison. She should be sent to prison for a long time.
 
The Post Office minister has told the BBC that those responsible for the Horizon scandal "should go to jail".
Kevin Hollinrake told a BBC Breakfast audience of sub-postmasters that "people should be prosecuted" when evidence is "established", and "people within the Post Office, possibly further afield, should go to jail".
More than 700 people were prosecuted by the Post Office between 1999 and 2015.
To date, just 37 have received full and final compensation settlements.

It's kind of a federal government job. Not really federal government but has a good pay scale, good benefits. Keeping that kind of job takes money.

Please tell those of us who don't live in the UK...WHY were 700 people "prosecuted between 1999 and 2015 " ? What were they charged with, exactly ?? Details, please ? JimB.

oh she made sick with those tears... she wasn't worried about anyone since she learned about it in 2013.. now that people have discovered she knew for over 10 years.. the tears start...woe is her.. oh really... no compassion for the people who have died, have been imprisoned and whose lives have been ruined... no... it's all about poor little Beige her !
