The photo you mentioned may have been misinterpreted or presented out of context. It appears that Travis Kelce did indeed drink a beer during a graduation ceremony! However, it wasn't a traditional graduation ceremony, but rather a surprise ceremony organized by the University of Cincinnati to award diplomas to Travis and his brother Jason, who had missed their own commencement ceremonies due to their NFL careers. Travis even delivered a speech while holding a beer and famously said, "You gotta fight for your right to party!" It seems like it was a memorable and unconventional graduation ceremony!

Considering this was a 'special' graduation ceremony for a returning star athlete, I don't think downing a beer is all that out of place. Quite frankly, when I graduated, I wish I would have thought of it. It would have been a lot more memorable than a handshake from Dean What- was-his-name.
