The psychatrist I saw today looked at my medication history and offer suggestions to obtain the least amount of side affects and provide the greatest benefit to me, including medication reduction and replacement. A complete overhaul of psychatric medications can be a scary ordeal, fortunately I am experienced in my madness and there is not much I haven’t already been through. A worse case scenario would mean hospitalization, however, I’ve got enough good crazy to overcome the bad. Crazy is not bad if you don’t mind the symptoms.
 

I always like that movie though, and watched it several times.

Quite dated now and thus almost opaque to young viewers. Today I'd only sit through it with other old fossils for the memories of lost cultural personalities. Might make a good "watch party" flick given a planned "hard intermission" or two.

You know they lost one of the good parts of that movie in my opinion anyway, where the crumps are locked in the hardware store Sid Ceasar has been beating hell out of the steel door, comes down the stairs exhausted and Edie Adams looks at him and asks real derisively " Can't you do it Melville "?

I hope it goes well. I need to ask for another med or two. On makes me shake like a leaf and the other one makes me off balance. I don't want to fall down again.

I am sorry you are struggling. Half the battle is admitting that you have a mental illness. It is always best to admit if you have a problem of any kind, to get the appropriate help. I suffer from mental illness, not the same kind but still just as difficult to deal with. The best thing I ever did was finally get help and therapy. To tell everyone in my life the problem. They may not understand but at least they learned not to judge me. My problem is severe anxiety and panic attacks. It can be very life limiting.

I am proud of you to keep fighting, doing the best you can!!
