Police Take Down 14 Year Old Would Be Middle School Shooter

I say "would be" because thank God the boy who had what is described as a "long gun" did not enter the school and no students were injured. The school was on lockdown though. He confronted police, likely with gun still in hand and was killed. I'd like to know the boy's background. Being he was a minor I don't know how much information will be released.

All these school shooters and shootings...it's just too much. That many of the shooters are so young is disheartening. How can children feel safe in their schools when they see news about this happening on such a regular basis? I would treat every criminal the same way independently of sex and age. It is good, that the police reacted fast enough to neutralize the boy before he could do harm to other children.

This past week , around England we've had a girl knife her teacher, and several other children... then the next day her brother was arrested for making threats to bomb the school

We've had man go berserk with a sword, and kill a random innocent 14 year old boy on his way to school and seriously injure others as well as police... today in the media, a farmer has shot and killed a teen burglar ( that's a no-no-) in the uk... he's been arrested... and will face prison time ( hopefully not )...

2..teens have taken their own lives after being subjected to sextortion.... which apparently is rife among the young by African telephone

An eminent female lawyer has been disbarred from the profession for a series of Dine & dash incidents from restaurants...

A group of adult sexual predators have been sentenced to 350 years after the abuse of children...

I saw news of the sword attacks! That poor boy and his poor parents. Was the swordsman captured or killed? I did not read the outcome. It's sad that these days teachers have to fear for their lives and students too. The world is getting crazier and crazier HD!

Alot of unhappy people want the world to experience their personal misery justified or not. These pos killers and attackers are selfish and/or narcissistic among other things

One of the most jarring things in my life was when I attended a evening painting class at the local college. There are signs all over about what to do if there's an ACTIVE SHOOTER on campus. That brought the problem home.
No school is a sanctuary for kids any more. Those days are gone.
