Eidie my Golden Retriever puppy is almost 6 months old and she has really grown physically over a short period of time. She is really great dog to have as a companion and friend. I feel sorry my dogs though, having to stay cooped up in dog crates at our neighbor’s garage while we wait for an area variance permit that hopefully we will have after the town zoning committee meets Tuesday.

Your dogs stay in a crate all day long?
Can’t you take them for some walks during the day? How very sad for those poor pets?
Time to buy a LOT bigger crate

No, you misunderstood! We take the dogs for a walk over to my house where they can run in the yard and splash in the creek. They do not stay in a crate all day and I have ordered a new larger 42 inch tall crate for Edie.

Oh good. I’m glad I misunderstood. Some people leave their dogs in crates like it’s their home and I think it’s abusive. I’m so glad I was wrong. Thank you for elaborating for ‘my’ sake. It was on my mind since I read the post.
I’m glad you are getting a bigger crate. Good man. 👍

Oh, doggies are special. Of course, when they hit their teenage years that get all hormonal and take up smoking pot and dating none-do-wells. Just wait until they start driving. :D
