Where Do You Keep The Ketchup?

Cabinet or refrigerator? I prefer to keep mine in the cabinet, but noticed that when I get the larger bottles the ketchup gets darker (but doesn't go bad). I decided I prefer my ketchup to remain as red as when I first buy it, so am now keeping it in the fridge.

In the fridge, I always like cold condiments to have a make a difference to a hot food. I always prep the lettuce, tomato, onion and pickles while the burgers cook. They then go back in the fridge to sray cold while the burgers cook. It is making sure you get the nice fresh crunch!!

One of my favorited desserts is a warm chocolate pudding with vanilla ice cream on top. You have the difference in the temperature, difference in flavor, quite lovely.

Of course, we all know the advantage of ice cream on a warm slice of pie.

Pantry. I think it tastes great, but I don't have much use for it these days. My wife on the other hand, seems to put it on a lot of stuff.

I'm not a ketchup fan tbh. I have it solely for the very odd occasion when I have fried bread as part of a cooked breakfast.

That's probably twice a year. It's mad that I have it just for that, but if I didn't have it and I fancied fried bread, I wouldn't be able to eat it without the ketchup..

Fridge. I'm not really a fan of ketchup, though. On a burger, I much prefer fresh tomato, and I wouldn't even think of putting it on a hotdog or corndog. That's strictly mustard territory.
I agree, the ketchup is for the fries but I still like it cold. Yes mustard is the go to on the hot or corndog. The hamburger I use some mustard and mayo mixed together to prevent heartburn, works for me

I usually have a big plastic bottle in the refrigerator. I used to be known as "the ketchup kid" by my stepfather. I used to use a whole lot of ketchup. I don't any more but like it on burgers of all kinds 😀

Pantry.
Never had any issues doing that.
Thinking back to my teen days when I worked in restaurants, the ketchup was kept on the tables. At night we’d clean the tables, wipe down the ketchup bottles and refill them. Quite disgusting as I think back on it.

I use very little ketchup, not worth buying a bottle so keep a few sachets, as with mustard and brown sauce, in the pantry

on the kitchen bar with many other things - do you have an scientific evidence for otherwise??
