Does your condo not have a balcony?I enjoy gardening, but I am going to move to high rise condo,
no space for gardening, I have to give away plants, will spend more time traveling.
I have no burden, but miss nature's beauty, feel sad.

Here in the UK Garden means..Lawn and flowers & trees and shrubs..... Allotment...or vegetable garden, means somewhere we grow fruits and veggiesWhen anyone mentions "garden", I think of my grandmother. She always had a garden, it was no little patch, 20 feet X 50 feet. She lost a leg to diabetes in the late 1950s. She still gardened from a wheelchair. A few years later, she lost the other leg, and still kept her garden up, all by herself. Remarkable woman.
Here (US) 'garden' means veggies. A (US) 'formal garden' would mean lawn , flowers, & trees. It's amazing that the US and UK share so much TV and movies, you'd think we'd have the same vocabulary. Here in the UK Garden means..Lawn and flowers & trees and shrubs..... No worry, I have twin suns because I am Pisces.Whoa, faked me out good with your avatar... saw it and thought someone hacked my account.I'm sorry to hear that you won't have any space for gardening... is a much smaller scale window garden possible? Sadly my thumb has never been green.
well why did the USA change the words in our Language ( English) to mean something else?.. why didn't they just leave it as it was ?Here (US) 'garden' means veggies. We get a lot of deer here but putting up a 8 x 12 cedar raised beds in hopes of them not chomping them down. The previous owners had no luck gardening so we will see.I've given up my garden this year. We have so many deer in our forest, over the past couple of years, that they got most of my vegetables last year. Hunting has almost ceased in this area, so I guess we'll just spend a bit more at the grocery store, and enjoy watching the deer.
I have not heard of what Fuzzybuddy described as a Formal Garden (unless itās at a big mansion with walkways, trimmed/stylize hedges and probably a fountain). To me i enjoy my gardenā lawn, informal flower beds and trees.well why did the USA change the words in our Language ( English) to mean something else?.. why didn't they just leave it as it was ?
For years I have said, Most everything from our garden tastes like Venison. We get a lot of deer here but putting up a 8 x 12 cedar raised beds in hopes of them not chomping them down.
This is one thing Iām going to miss with quitting , is growing my own marijuana. I totally enjoyed growing and grew it for decades. It was a great hobby that I was proud of.I like to grow marijuana now it's legal to grow 4 in Canada. I like the high CBD as I don't want to get high but like the mellow feeling. I did grow a high THC strain and they are beautiful plants. I got more weed than I need.

I hope you took a lot of pictures to have.It takes time to build and maintain the garden.
After giving away my plants, I am able to travel and minimize my belongings.
No more pets, no more plants for the rest of my life.
I want to create AI art and music.
My life journey is entering the next stage.
