What commercials on TV or radio can’t you believe are airing?

Commercials can be annoying in their intrusiveness or repetitive nature, but pay for the programming. What commercials have you seen or heard on TV or radio that seem especially outrageous, in bad taste, or “over the top?”

The news radio station I listen to airs a commercial for “California Psychics,” extolling their virtues and saying that 98% of the psychics they screen don’t make the grade. Your first contact with them is only $20! Perhaps Carl Sagan was right, and we live in a “demon-haunted world” with supposed psychics advertising for business freely.

How about you? What commercials “grind your gears?” 😖

They ALL get my b.p. up, but some more than others....these
days it is endless Spectrum tv/etc commericals....another is
for cheez-it crackers where a pediophile sliding on snow goes
thru a fishing shack where a small child is present....and on and on.......

I think that the Lume commercials where the lady talks about using it on “pits, privates, b*tt cracks, and underb**bs” are truly over the top! Can’t someone stop this woman!? 😖

Fyrefox, you're absolutely right. That "pits and boobs" b**** is irritating, disgusting, tactless and 100 other crummy adjectives to describe her.
My only ray of sunshine about those ads for that deodorant junk is sales are flat, meaning few are repeat customers. Supposedly, after the initial discounted order, it's extremely expensive??? Also she is being sued for false and misleading claims about the 72 hour protection. BTW, Lume was sold to Harry's Inc., so hopefully they ditch the b****.

I’ve seen some “whole body” deodorants other than Lume for sale in stores, and idly picked up one to see what it cost. The price was more than twice what a traditional underarm deodorant would cost, plus if used in other areas, the container wouldn’t last long! I think that the market for “whole body” deodorants may have been overestimated, especially in light of the cost, and when daily showers or baths usually suffice… 🧼

That's the one. When I go to work and talk to residents at the nursing home and my fellow staff members, nobody seems to care about butt crack odor. I've been working in nursing homes since 1996. I've heard nurses often talk about a resident's health issues. But never have I ever heard a nurse or a CNA, complain about a residents butt crack odor.

Even clever commercials can become irksome through mind-numbing repetition. I like Dean Winters and his Allstate Insurance Mayhem character…with his often bruised and bandaged face, he looks how I feel. But it seems like I can’t watch an hour of TV without seeing a repetition of a commercial featuring him aired just minutes before…

I would like to see Mayhem fighting Progressive’s Flo and maybe the Geico Gecko in a steel cage Insurance spokesman death match…now that would be entertainment! 😸

Lol, for the love of god, showing with water and soap will remove the odor causing bacteria, and leave you feeling refreshed and invigorated.

Bathing- what a concept !

Yup, the stinky woman parts commercial. Now they have a stinky man one also. Too lazy to shower? The fabulous male razor for shaving all body parts that I don't need to see.🤮
Years ago, the psychic commercials were many. When most of them went out of business, they never saw it coming.
