Actor Steve Buscemi Attacked While Walking In New York City

The victim of yet another random attack in The City, the actor was taken to the hospital and is recuperating. It took them a few days to arrest the suspect. Video included with the article:

I'm glad nothing like that happened to me in the 15 years that I lived there. Then again, I'm not an actor. Although at one time I was a actor wannabe for awhile.

Not just a celeb for his acting. Buscemi was FDNYC for a while when young and on 9/11 he showed up at World Trade Center and pitched in with the work.

Also as i understand it the guy got arrested because despite a pretty clear CCTV shot of him being on the news he was harassing others in Chelsea a day or two later.

There has been other news about non-actors being attacked in NYC Jp. In fact, these types of incidents are in the news way too often, including citizens being pushed onto railroad tracks (one died recently), being stabbed or shot in the subways and on the streets or attacked with machetes. He's a famous actor...of course it hit the news.
