My Blue Suit Puts Me On

Thank you, PeppermintPatty. And everyone else for your interest & support.

Your comments typically hit home with me, for I haven't done Claymation since I moved my art room to the basement back in October of '21. I had all my supplies on the shelf, but was so heavily, into other areas, I thought I might not ever get into it again. One thing leads to another, and with my current interest in Elijah Lovejoy, I got back into Claymation. I had forgotten some of the basics which led to mistakes and discoveries which is one of the many things I love about art- every day I get to feel like Christopher Columbus who doesn't care if the Vikings got there first.

It’s multi talented. You aren’t only good at creating great art; you’re also great at animation. You make your art come alive.
That takes another type of talent or skill altogether.

Enough about me, PeppermintPatty... Let's talk about me some more.

Actually, thank you very much. Although my drive for doing art isn't for external gratification- for I do art really for the selfish reason that I love it- and want to share it.

I would do any piece of art for anyone just out of appreciation, and in that way, I at least SEEM unselfish.

In other words, PeppermintPatty, you're in the black with me.

I really appreciate all your comments and support and need to ask why this GIF is getting such good reviews? It's rather sloppy and not all that well made. I just wanted to have some fun taking pictures during a sculpting process.

Heck, even on the Arts Forum website I frequent, this GIF was featured, and I don't see what's all that special about it. I think my Lovejoy art is much better, and it gets very little attention in comparison.

What gives?

What gives IMO is seeing the creativity you put here for us. It beats the gloom & doom that is in the news.

To gruntlabor
When you reach age 83 like me you will understand that you get negative comments when out in public with a tin foil hat.

Thank you, @Knight for your interest and kind words. Appreciation for my Art means a lot to me.

Noting your age, I recall talking with an 83 year old patient the last year I worked as a nurse. He asked me how old I was, and when I told him sixty three, he replied, "You're still a kid!"
