No argument here.. the 70's was ( well the first half of the 70's for me ) the best Music Era ever..
One of my good friends told me, 'If you remember the 70's you weren't really there'. I learned that was what might be termed the wild part of his life, but I could relate. For me the late 60's and early 70's were haunted by Vietnam.

This series about the 70's popped up in my YouTube feed over the weekend. I watched a couple of the videos and it did bring back certain events that I had forgotten about.

The music and movies of the early 70's were awesome, perhaps the best ever, but what really made that a special time for me was that I was a teenager with the freedom and ability to go where I pleased when I pleased. I would stay out late, sometimes coming home in a day or two. Everything was done on the spur-of-the-moment and almost always pointless. The friends I had were and still are the best of my life so far. I really can't remember any bad times, until the end of 74 when I was inducted in the Army. It was a very sudden and stark change, but I needed it. You can't be useless forever. LOL
