American Cities Predicted To Be Underwater Between 2050 and 2060

Think Elon is planning to go to Titan to control the Methane / Methanol Markets.
Ship it back to the Moon, the moon sheds the gasses atmosphere, and all is smoken good.
The earth gets a giant halo and cool off, another ice age occurs. Perfection! The Earth
reabsorbs all the Carbon poison, you know grows trees again and returns to Campers Galore Galas!
Poison Ivy Flourishes. Snakes hide the apples.

Remember the huge floods when the Ice dams broke after the last Ice age. Abners Boats & Crab House ?

What is this and what's its source, D?
Amazon item.
Brilliant color elevation map wall art depicting the United States. This map shows off elevation values throughout the Contiguous United States in vivid color. The artwork is created using accurate geographic data to color-code low to high elevations across the landscape. It is both true artwork and an incredibly accurate map.
The artwork is made by using accurate remotely sensed geographic data of elevation values across the landscape. Each pixel is given a numerical value similar to the RGB values given to pixels in aerial imagery. However, instead of the pixels obtaining an RGB value, the elevation pixels are given elevation values above mean see level. These elevation values are then color-coded by the artist to bring out vibrant changes in elevation color. The high resolution artwork is then printed on high quality paper at various sizes.

Climate change is a world wide problem. Solving it is going to require a lot of cooperation.

Many lesser developing countries are building coal fired power plants left and right to power their development. Coal is abundant and cheap. Our job in developed countries should be finding ways to help them use more green power and less coal. There is more bang for the buck doing that than spending billions of dollars in the USA to convert gas stoves to electric stoves and other such things.

China, India, and many developing countries in Africa are the main sources of new coal power power plants. China doesn't have much oil, but it has a lot of coal. That's why they are big on EV's. They can power them cheaply by building more coal power plants.

There is coal, and then there is coal. Most is very low quality and burns inefficiently. Europe and China are among the worst, they just don't have very clean burning types of coal.

Are we forgetting how large the oceans are?

Some years ago I read that even if both arctic poles completely melted, the world's oceans would rise only 2 or 3 inches, and the only land we could potentially lose would be low-lying deltas and a few really small, uninhabited (by humans) islands.

Not from anything I've read. According to the American Museum of Natural History, Wired and numerous other sources, If all the ice in Antarctica melted, the estimate is a 200 - 300 foot rise in oceans.

What Would Happen If All the Antarctic Ice Melted?

The Tidal changes are crazy in some parts of the world. Every day, couple of times. Add 20 feet to the tidal levels it becomes a severe problem.
The fishing docks are crazy high. I remember Charleston Harbor, 1998, evening high tide, going out on the Harbor dinner cruise, standing water in intersections down town, walking thru water on the Sidewalk to the Boat. You know 20 years earlier that walk was above high tied.

If the Lowland habitats are destroyed, Swamps become lakes. Earths habitats will recover one day. Mass extinctions certainly play a part in the future. But Xi and Putin will nuke us first. You know, what they got to lose? Sure, the Seals know they have to take a bunch of em out!

Most likely 10 million people will be affected by the Mississippi & Ohio Rivers and its Tributaries (most likely all) levies will be topped by flood and failures.. Gully washers will be horrendous. My mom often spoke of the devastating Ohio River Floods of her youth. you know many parts of the High-Country housing values are seeing $14,000 a year increases in values.

But a Methane cloud ring around earth may shade it. You go Elon. Darken it with potash. I'm thinking of the Book CUSP right now.

If millions of people will need soon to move away from the coasts, it is probably a good time to invest in the housing industry (and a poor time to be invested in the insurance industry).

Already some islands are having to begin to relocate to mainlands. I don't know what will become of countries that are entirely low lying.

In the 1950s short story "The Marching Morons" they came up with a solution. There is no reason why coastal populations couldn't also be "relocated to Mars." ;) ;)

I read it in an article about 5 or 6 years ago. Scientists of arctic matters know how much water is in glaciers (by volume), what type of water it is, and how much of it would evaporate vs how much would not. IMO, facts and findings that dispute the sunken cities narrative are suppressed. There is money to be had in the sunken cities narrative because taxpayers are willing to fund preventive measures.

Again, just my opinion.

I believe you're right about this while certain elites who must remain nameless are buying / occupying oceanfront properties. Would they do that if there were any truth at all to the speculation?

We once were considering property on or near the Outer Banks of North Carolina. It was beautiful and still affordable. Then there was a major storm and it became apparent that the flood zone existed for many miles inland. It was a disaster with pigs and chickens floating everywhere. It suddenly lost its charm.

Here is where technology of lifting the floating city comes into play. OMG where is Venice.

The $100 + ++ millionaire up doesn't worry about the future of a fun purchase by them. They wouldn't pay cash anyway. Finance the sale themselves and have 2% interest for 100 years. :ROFLMAO: You know Sacramento is 33' above Sea Level. They are raising their Dike systems 3.5' Stake a High Siera claim fast!
