For me, I'm angry at the sadists and liars.

And if you think you live in a world where there's not a lot of sadists and liars, I think maybe you're not examining the issues closely enough.

Are you 65 or over? Is the house community property? In many settlements in the U.S. the judge will order the community real estate be sold, maybe not immediately if there are still kids at home, but eventually.

yes I'm 70 next birthday . The house is not community property, he bought a luxury penthouse apartment during our marriage but within 3 months of leaving me ..to install his mistress .

Anger is a tool used often by bad people to divide humanity. It should be used rarely in small doses to deal with immediate serious problems, and there are no good alternatives.

Why wouldn't that still be community property? Purchased during the marriage but seperated shouldnt matter. Even if he claims it as his residence, those funds used for the purchase should be deducted from his half of the settlement.

But my only perspective is US law, may be different where you are.
