What have you bought recently?

Yesterday I bought a whole bunch of food in M&S & Tesco..including Sundried Tomato & Oregano Sourdough bread... Black seedless grapes.. Both Cheese & fruit Scones ... and spiced iced buns... some Blue Cheeses, some smoked salmon parcels with Salmon & cream cheese Mousse... ... and some Frozen Strawberries.. ..and a whole bunch more of regular groceries..

Right now, I'm awaiting the imminent delivery of a 3 way adaptor plug with surge protection...

Sundried Tomato & Oregano sourdough bread is now on my next shopping list, how did I live without it! Sounds wonderful. :)

$23.39 for five pair of Maidenform underwear @ $10/pair because coupon and Kohl's cash. I looked in the store the other day when we were there, but they weren't in stock. I'd have asked DD to take me over there to pick up, but they're only available online for shipping. Figures. But it's all good because they're the only ones I've found that fit right and that I like. Five pair? Should last a while because I already have five. Saved myself $26.61. Yay me. I can live with that.

DD and DGD made me go to Lowe's garden center. Made me. I didn't wanna go. They made me.

$59.81 later, I have a trailing vinca to hang where there was a hummingbird feeder that got moved this morning, two yellow daisies, three fan flowers--one each in pink, white and purple.

The trailing vinca has been hung. The fan flowers have been planted in a pot where there had been a euphorbia that got too big and was transplanted to DD's garden this morning. The daisies will be planted tomorrow after work.

This time I really am done spending money on flowers. Really. Done, I say. Done.

yeah of course you are Dear... take a little rest out of the heat and we'll see you again when you're not so delirious :sneaky::D

Sent my laptop back to Amazon, wrong configuration. Listed as a Win10 Home, rcv'd a Win10 S. Full refund. Have to jump through hoops to work with an 'S', easier to install a working Linux system on a Home or Pro. On the Amazon renewed site, bought a Dell Win 10 Pro. Arrived, setup sans the Win 10 with a rolling Linux Distro - faster than my 6GB HP. It's a 2 YO old business buyback. Paid $187.12 ($20+ less than the 'S') with discounts, rewards and coupons. Excellent, 16GB memory, 500GB HD. Cheaper, better than a Chromebook.

Boneless skinless chicken breast for 97 cents a lb. Sliced some for breading, chunks for stir fry & soups. Meal preps include for burgers & different flavors of sausage. All vacuum sealed until needed. When for burgers or meatloaf I'll grind some fatty pork since chicken is to dry.

I read somewhere to add mayo to turkey burgers to counter the dryness. Haven't tried it yet.

Chicken is only dry if it's breast... thighs are a much better option if you want moist meat...
