Just now priced four new tyres for my Mitsubishi AXS - $700
I know most tire shops are pissed when people bring internet tires for installation. Tire work has gotten out of hand for simple mount and balance. They charge as though everyone owns a vehicle with special rims that require special equipment to work on.I buy ours on the Internet, Usually around $400 on sale for 4.
The Rural guys like to keep their help busy and not eat the shipping expense.
I get them shipped for free. Pay the Rural guys for valve stems and batteries for the Pressure sensor's a win win.
that's roughly the price here but in pounds for average tyres ... so you're getting your tyres for cheap compared to us... £700 equates to £367.00 AUDJust now priced four new tyres for my Mitsubishi AXS - $700

I drive a Mitsubishi Outlander Sport. I went from 50,000 mile tires to 80,000 mile tires. They drive noisier than the old tires. I didn't replace all 4 at once. I replaced 2 and then later, the other 2. Both times the bill was around $330. Give or take a few dollars. The tires on this car is costlier than tires on my other cars. Then again, these tires are a little bigger size than the one on my other cars.Just now priced four new tyres for my Mitsubishi AXS - $700
I was only pricing them. No need for new tyres any time soon.It depends on the tyres and the application, as not all tyres are equal. It’s not necessary to put on the same brand as the original equipment; you just need to ensure they have the correct speed and load rating for your car.
Popular sizes tend to be less expensive than rare sizes. Some tyres offer better wet weather grip, while others are better in dry conditions. Wear rates also vary between brands. Generally, you get what you pay for.
For instance, one of my cars has “Uniroyal RainSport 5” tyres, 215/45 17Y (91), costing £110 each (about $210 AUD or $140 USD).
Another car I have has “Michelin Pilot Sport 4s” tyres, 255/35 18Y (94), at £201 each (around $383 AUD or $255 USD). The Michelin tyres have a softer outer third of the tread compared to the inner two thirds, which improves grip and handling in corners. Some places in the UK give a discount if you have to have more than one tyre fitted.
Which tyres did you put on your Mitsubishi?
We have All Season that came with the car and switch to winter treads in October. Those were $1000+ and we pay $150 for seasonal storage and the changeover. That’s $300 per year just for that.Asked HD about winter tires says about $1000.00. A little less for summers.

We get ours from Costco also. They are always a great deal.Yes they are. Buy them at Sam's or Costco to find some deals. And you don't have to replace at 4 at one time. Some people think you do. Only replace the ones that are the most worn. Save the others for later.
