Treated 4x4's for the posts and painted fir for the rest of it. I give it 5 or 6 years before I need to start replacing pieces. The Oregon rain is relentless. What kind of wood are you using? I love the smell of freshly made wood projects.
A man who's not out to make a buck. I like that.Latest project is a small air compressor I picked up from the end of someones drive on trash day, I couldn't help myself. Ugly little piece of junk, I took it home, got it running so am now painting it.
Do I need it? Nope. Do I want it? Nope, but someone will and I'll give it to them.
A fence sure can enhance a property. I had two pastures fenced in when I had horses, a few years ago I took it all down, it still looks ugly and naked out there. I've been thinking of putting up some decorative fence sections simply for something to look at.lolI recently finished building a fence and now I'm building an arbor for the front entrance.
