Your opinion: Women wearing sexy outfits?

You do you. Some women (and men) feel more confident in skimpy tight exercise clothing. Some wear it all day long. I'm guessing that wearing loose exercise clothing is not the most comfortable option, especially when you sweat and it clings to your skin in weird ways. Tight clothing has less movement. If you wear makeup AND wear exercise clothing, you're definitely looking for someone. Haha.

My mother had a lifetime obsession (BDD) with her appearance and what others might think of her. My grandfather got frustrated with her and told her "no one is going to look at you anyway." That line was a repeated family favorite. Years later, after she died, I heard the rest of it from someone online--"No one is going to look at you because they're too busy looking at themselves."

Live like no one is going to look at you anyway. :)

OP is jealous.

Not accusing her, she says so herself in her post

I don't care what other people wear in situations that don't affect me. They are not at work or a wedding, they are exercising. Sports bras and fitted tops seems fine for that to me.

I have to say I used to be jealous of women that were better looking than me eons ago. Now nearing 70 years of age, I could not care less what anyone else wears. Oh, actually I do care when someone is out of shape, too old and wearing something that shows all the fat and saggy breasts, yuck, don't get near me. I think that is disgusting.

There was an advertising campaign many years ago for Braniff Airlines with the tag phrase, “if you’ve got it, flaunt it!“ The campaign featured notable figures, including Salvator Dali. I think that this slogan applies here, with the notable caveat that some who flaunt it don’t really got it, like a beer-bellied man wearing a Speedo swimsuit at the beach! A second addendum would be that those who flaunt it shouldn’t be surprised if they draw unwanted attention…

So if you got it and want to flaunt it, taking the risks, be my guest! Just don’t wear curlers and pajama bottoms in Walmart, please!

Regardless of gender, a person involved in athletic activity can do so wearing clothing that reasonably with modesty showcases their form and fitness without being overtly seksual doing so.

Clothing marketing, advertising, and news media tends to be controlled by voyeuristic oriented men because they know there are a great many males out there just like them. Personally, I'm not one of them, nor ever look at porn. Thus society has over decades been in a race to the bottom.

Let it Be. Each to their own. We have control over looking or not.

Too each their own. I've never been comfortable flashing too much skin. As a young woman, on the hottest of days, the most of me that was visible would be my legs (shorts) and my shoulders (a halter neck top). How I was perceived by others I know not and care not.

Today I am more self conscious. When looking in the letterbox I always put on my dressing gown.

I have always enjoyed seeing a beautiful women. I am seldom bothered by what a women wears or doesn't wear, beautiful or not. To each their own...

As for men, no matter! If they don't get arrested for what they are wearing, I probably will not notice them...

have not seen any posts from "upper classes". ;-)

responding to your post.

why focus on "upper classes" @Warrigal ?

no, have not seen the shows you mentioned and never will. ;)

take care, friend. :)
Izi, from time to time someone, often me, responds with a fleeting thought that is out of synch with the main topic of a thread. Then someone responds to that. This is what is happening here but the thread has not been derailed so it is best to just let it go. Everyone else has moved on.

I always take care, but my thinking has a mind of its own, depending on the time of day, and it can get me in a bit of trouble sometimes.

Anyhoo, welcome to the forum. 🤗

Yeah especially of men in sexy outfits.
