Well, our trip into town was mostly a waste of time today.
I think I mentioned that the gym is getting a major reconstruction. When we got there this morning they were cutting treated wood. Even though I don't like the noise that the workers make, I can mostly ignore it. However, the air quality is more of an issue for me than the noise. I don't want to be breathing sawdust while I'm working out.
So we left the gym and went to the Club House. We almost didn't get our coffee, because they had some kind of presentation that was starting in about 30 minutes. Luckily, it doesn't take us that long to finish our drinks and we were out of there in plenty of time.
By now it was around 10:30 and I had no errands to take care of. The Tractor Supply Store was close by, so we went there to browse for a while. I was surprised to see how much their prices had gone up! Maybe that had something to do with why the store was so empty!
Next we went to the park to see if the ducks were back. They still weren't there. The last time we saw Chelveston, or any of the ducks, was last fall. They all disappeared at the same time. I have a feeling that the Park people caught them and relocated them.
Before leaving the Park, I wanted to use the rest room, so we walked over to the Senior Center. I haven't been there in a long while!!!
I'm glad we went. They had African Violets that someone had started, and were selling. At one time, I must have had about 20 African Violets, and they did well...until they all died within a month of each other. That was a long time ago, and I haven't had one since then. We got a "plant light" a few weeks ago I decided that it was time to try an African Violet again. Wish it luck, it's going to need it!.
Anyway, from the Park, we did a Tuesday thing: stopped at the store, then got a

. We sure are creatures of habit!!
