I asked AI: Can a person's eyes become stuck in the cross-eyed position?

Sent by Copilot:
Yes, a condition known as strabismus or crossed eyes can cause one eye to turn in a different direction than the other. While it’s more common in children, adults can also experience strabismus.

(there is more)
Thanks for the explanation. My female first cousin suffered from strabismus and had to undergo surgery in order to correct it. In contrast, I have suffered from lazy eye all my life. Never considered surgery although I have doubled vision because of it, and must depend on using my right eye only in order to prevent it..
