The times......They are a changing

As you get older do you find yourself going to bed earlier and earlier?
No, I go to sleep about the same time every night and usually get around eight hours of sleep. I guess I'm lucky. It's said that a regular sleep schedule has many physical and mental health benefits.

For a time, back during my active working life, my job would often dictate my sleep schedule. That wasn't good.

For me it depends on how early I got up. If I wake up early I am up for the day. So will get tired early but much of the time I watch television till I start falling asleep. I think I sleep the same amount of time as I did before. Just different hours. Living alone now if I want to get up at 3 AM I can.

Why am I out of step? I never go to bed much before midnight, at about four am my bladder won't give me any peace until I go and relieve myself, back to bed until six to six thirty.
Is it because I still work? Never got out of that work ethic.
I'm pretty much like horseless carriage. I found that if I took naps, I couldn't fall asleep at night. Then I'd sleep most of the day and be awake most of the night. I guess that discombobulated my sleep cycle, and I felt lousy. So, it's beddy time at 12, BR break time @ 4, up @7.
