I was charged for services never rendered. I was not pleased with the service, and my last cleaner was a no call, no show. I decided to cancel my subscription after 4 months, and was aware i will have to pay $200+ early termination fee. I was so frustrated, i didnt care (btw, they have NO customer servuce phone number). I was charged an additional $111 for the No Show ... they claim i wasn't home, i was, right on my 1st floor. I even have receipts of my trying to reach my cleaner. They are fraudulent leeches!

I’m sorry this happened to you. Everytime I see those commercials, I know someone is being ripped off. It’s either the cleaners or the customers. It will never been the people at the top.

You can make a formal complaint against the company with the Federal Trade Commission. Report Fraud

Can also review them on Yelp, Trust Pilot https://www.trustpilot.com/review/homeaglow.com, and the BBB. https://www.bbb.org/

Your state probably has a Consumer Protection agency too. File a complaint with them also. You can even take the company to Small Claims Court over the bogus $111 no-show fee.

Ask your bank or credit card co. to cancel /reverse all charges, and deny any further charges. They will do that if it isn't too late.

Bottom line - A month of 2.5-hour weekly cleanings would cost me over $320.
First, it’s a trap. You are actually buying into a “membership” with a fee of $40 per month. If you cancel before 6 months, you will be charged for the “real” cost of the initial visit, plus admin fees for a total near $200. There’s no mention of that before you sign up - I discovered it only after I tried to cancel all future visits.
Second, the $19 is where it starts. The price goes up for more rooms (understandable but not mentioned up front) and admin fees almost double the final cost. My very competent cleaner did 3 rooms in 2.5 hours for over $60. Heaven knows how much he saw of that.
Finally, the price also goes up for subsequent visits, when you pay the realistic hourly rate for a cleaner plus admin fees. I expected that because there’s no way a cleaner could survive getting paid $19 for 2.5 hours of work. The final price landed at almost $80, which is more than I paid my cleaner before she moved out of town - and she got all of that money.

The same thing happened to me! I've been in touch with BBB and put a stop payment of their charges. 17 appointment time and no one showed!!

Our homeaglo cleaner stole $5,000 worth of jewelry and vanished. I've also had homeaglo cleaners scam the system by drawing out their arrival time until I gave up and was still charged for it.

HOMEAGLO IS NOT BONDED

They will disclaim responsibility for any bad actions on the part of their cleaners.

USE AT YOUR OWN RISK!

I was thinking of using them but reading these posts, I will not hire them. It does sound to good to be true.

You have to have realistic expectations for a house cleaner.

I've found that,
hiring a private individual is better than hiring a service.

Much better.

I had a gal at my winter home in FL for the 7 yrs I was there,
and have a gal here in my MKE home for 26 yrs..

Both run their own show.
