Is any of your kitchen in your bedroom?

I'd mentioned in a post (on a different forum) that I would probably put a coffee pot in my bedroom as I got older, and another person responded that they had a mini-fridge in theirs to avoid having to go downstairs to their kitchen at night.

Do you have any kitchen type appliances in your bedroom? Do you have plans to have some there as you get older?

I have a little mini fridge in mine but it’s currently unplugged and not used. While I was hibernating, it was used a lot.

No. When I can't make it from my bedroom to my kitchen, I'll just move my bedroom closer to the kitchen.

In this house, that means converting either the front room or the big ol' family room into our bedroom. Either one would be awesome! I'm thinking that's a done deal.

I don't want to bring the tone down, but if I could have a bathroom device next to my bed, it would be most useful.

No, my house's previous owners added on a master bedroom and bathroom to the original main floor, so the kitchen is just on the other side of the home office area and the bathroom is right next to the bedroom. Access to both is pretty easy.

When my daughter moved to a dorm her freshman year of college, I thought their setup of having little microwaves in their bedrooms and the "facilities" down the hall would be great for old people. But now that I'm an old people I realize I make several trips to the bathroom at night so 'down the hall' would be too far.

Maybe I'll just put a mattress on my kitchen island and sleep there. I could just reach out to grab something from the fridge.

No. My house does not have stairs and the kitchen is not far from any bedroom

No. Our apartment isn't that big, so it is not necessary. Plus there'd be no room for an appliance in the bedroom.
